PRESS RELEASE: CONGRATULATIONS TO H.E. HAKAINDE
HICHILEMA AS PRESIDENT-ELECT OF THE REPUBLIC OF ZAMBIA.
On behalf of the people of Somaliland and Ucid Party, we want to congratulate the
newly elected President, Mr. Hakainde Hichilema for his victory on becoming the
seventh Zambian President. Also, we want to congratulate the outgoing President for
working hard to maintain peace by conceding.
We would like congratulate the people of Zambia for keeping democracy alive.
Somaliland supports any African country that demonstrates democracy by going to the
voting polls. We look forward to partnering with Zambia and its new President in
playing a positive role within Africa and on the global stage.
